AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso and FC Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde spoke to the press following their friendly match at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Saturday evening.
Andre Silva’s late goal snatched a 1-0 win for the Italian side.
Despite returning to Europe with one draw and two losses, Valverde remained upbeat about his youthful second-string side.
“I’m leaving with a very good feelings for how these last three matches went,” he told reporters.
Gattuso seemed delighted with his team’s victory, calling it “beautiful” and “surprising”.
A total of 18 teams are competing for a chance to win the sixth edition of the International Champions Cup. The tournament is running from July 20 until August 11.
