Real Madrid 3 AC Milan 1: Higuain goal not enough for Rossoneri. Goals from Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Borja Mayoral gave Real Madrid a confident win in Saturday’s friendly meeting with AC Milan.
Gonzalo Higuain’s first AC Milan goal proved inconsequential as Real Madrid warmed up for the UEFA Super Cup with an entertaining 3-1 friendly win.
Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale netted either side of Higuain’s classy curling finish before substitute Borja Mayoral capped off the hosts’ third successive pre-season victory in stoppage time.

The game marks Real’s final game of pre-season, as they compete for the Bernabeu Trophy ahead of Wednesday night’s European Super Cup clash with Atletico Madrid.
It’s the last chance for Real Madrid to get used to new manager Julen Lopetegui’s system, following their return from the United States.
