AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri believes that the media have been unfair to write off his side’s chances ahead of their Champions League tie against FC Barcelona.
Massimiliano Allegri, AC Milan manager:
“This will be a great match between two great clubs. One club has the most titles in the world and the other is the strongest club in the world. We know that to reach our target of getting through we have to play a great match.”
Riccardo Montolivo, AC Milan midfielder:
“The match comes as we are in our best moment. We know that we are playing against the best squad in the world, with the best players in the world. We are aware of the difficulties we are going to face. But we are looking forward to playing this match, it’s a great match to play in and we look forward to facing this strong opponent.”
Massimiliano Allegri, AC Milan manager:
“What makes me angry is the fact that for the last ten days everybody has been talking about Milan as the victim, of them losing the match. But the rules will not change, the match will start from nil-nil.”
