wow… beckham was actually so good a footballer its just ridiculous… people often forget what football is actually about, they concentrate too much on pace, flicks and tricks… football is about making goals, either by scoring or assisting. watch how whenever beckham receives the ball, he doesn't even have to move forward with it to get the ball up the pitch, he trusts his radar so much that it doesnt matter what position he is in, the ball is gonna go exactly where he wants it to. almost terminator-like. very similar to scholes except scholes was better at other things such as just controlling the game with short passes, and better attacking-wise. but beckham for me is the best long passer of a football i have ever known. what a player.
